Saudi Arabia’s largest construction show breaks record for number of exhibitor rebooking
Tuesday, May 2, 2017 — Marking another successful year in its 7th edition, The Big 5 Saudi 2017 that concluded on 30 March had an impressive four-day run attracting over 14,500 visitors at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.
On 27 March, opening ceremonies led by Zeyad Bin Bassam Mohammed Al-Bassam Vice Chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce welcomed the presence of more than 400 exhibitors from 30+ countries including Italy, Turkey, Germany, Greece, China, Qatar, Kuwait, Spain, Hungary, and India. Enhancing each visitors experience by providing a unique platform to connect key players and exhibitors to one another as well as showcasing exhibitor’s latest products to a growing market, this year’s The Big 5 Saudi saw a record-breaking onsite rebooking rate from exhibitors for next year’s show. Next year The Big 5 Saudi has already set dates to come back for its 8th edition scheduled to run through 5 – 8 March 2018.
In the backdrop of key construction developments happening throughout Saudi that top out at a combined estimated value of over USD $700 billion, The Big 5 Saudi 2017served as a platform to showcase the latest and most innovative products and construction solutions for the Saudi market. Bringing together architects, engineers, developers, manufacturers, suppliers and contractors from around the globe under one roof, the event also facilitated opportunities for decision makers to meet and greet with one another to gain useful insight to support their businesses and professional careers.
